Day 1: Arrival & Aperitivo Tour

Welcome to Milan! Your English-speaking hosts will be waiting for you outside of customs to transfer you to your hotel. Settle into the Magville Hotel, a European boutique style hotel the where you can unwind before immersing yourself in the city's vibrant aperitivo culture. As the sun sets, embark on a guided tour through Milan’s iconic bars and elegant streets, we will treat you to 2 expertly crafted cocktails and delicious Italian bites. Start over food and drink with learning how to greet, thank and order in Italian as we wind through the streets. Italian– The Basics Over Bites~Greetings & Introductions (“Ciao! Mi chiamo…” / “Piacere di conoscerti”) ~Polite Expressions (“Per favore”, “Grazie”, “Scusi”) ~Ordering Food & Drinks (“Vorrei uno spritz, per favore”) ~Useful Aperitivo Phrases (“Cos’è questo?” / “È piccante?”)

Day 2:

Milan's Skyline & Spa

Start your day with hotel-provided continental breakfast and language class before an awe-inspiring visit to the Duomo di Milano, one of the most stunning cathedrals in the world and a masterpiece of Gothic design. Take in the panoramic views from the rooftop, admiring the city skyline from above. We will provide an opportunity to grab lunch with our guide Martino before heading back to the hotel. At night, to combat the jetlag, indulge in ultimate relaxation at QC Termemilano Spa, a sanctuary of thermal baths, saunas, and wellness treatments set within a historic tram depot. Arrive before sunset to enjoy the outdoor pools as the sky changes colors. The spa is built around ancient Spanish walls from the 16th century. Alternatively, take a night to yourself to roam the city or get some beauty sleep before tomorrow’s excursion. ~Italian Class (2 hours) – Hotel, City & Food Essentials ~Breakfast Vocabulary (pane, burro, marmellata, succo di frutta) ~Getting Around (“Dove si trova il Duomo?” / “È lontano?”) ~Buying Snacks or Lunch (“Quanto costa una piadina?”) ~Spa Vocabulary & Booking Terms (massaggio, sauna, prenotare)

Day 3: Lake Como Escape

Venture by train with our guide Martino to the legendary Lake Como, one of Italy’s most adored destinations, after breakfast and class at your hotel. Enjoy a scenic private boat tour, cruising past elegant villas and lush landscapes. Explore the lakeside towns at your own pace before heading back to Milan by coach in the evening together. ~Italian Class (2 hours) – Travel & Transportation ~Asking for Directions (“Dov’è il lago?” / “Come si arriva a Bellagio?”) ~Transport Vocabulary (treno, autobus, traghetto, biglietto) ~Numbers & Money (uno–dieci, euro, centesimi, “Mi può dare il resto?”) ~Role-play: Buying tickets & asking for info at stations

Day 4: Castles & Culture

Join the group for breakfast in-house alongside our third language class. Join us in the afternoon for a walking tour of Milan’s artistic quarter, Brera. We will break to give everyone the opportunity for a leisurely lunch in Brera. After a late lunch we will step into Milan’s rich past with a visit to the Sforza Castle, a grand fortress that now houses world-class museums and Michelangelo’s unfinished masterpiece, the Rondanini Pietà. Wander through the adjoining Parco Sempione, where you’ll explore the thought-provoking "Talking Walls" street art installation. Join us in the evening for a food tour of Milan. ~Italian Class (2 hours) – History, Museums & Questions Museum & Art Vocabulary (museo, castello, pittura, scultura) ~Describing Places (“È antico”, “È molto interessante”) ~Asking Questions (“Chi ha costruito questo?” / “Quando è stato fatto?”) ~Expressions for Exploring (“Andiamo a vedere”, “Entriamo?”)

Day 5: Fashion & Flavors

After breakfast and class in our hotel, head to Milan’s fashion district, where you’ll explore high-end boutiques, independent designers, and hidden local favorites. Practice your Italian phrases while shopping at Via Montenapoleone and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Travel by train and funicular to have dinner on us at a celebrated restaurant in Bergamo, a stunning medieval town known for its breathtaking views and rich culinary scene. We have arranged for a coach back to the hotel.

Day 6: Art & Leisure

No trip to Milan is complete without a visit to Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper, one of the most revered works of art in the world. After breakfast and class, take in its magnificence then enjoy a free afternoon to explore at your own pace—perhaps visiting the modern art galleries of Porta Nuova, shopping for last-minute treasures, or simply relaxing at a café with an espresso. Day 7: Navigli & La Dolce Vita

Begin your final full day with us with a relaxed breakfast and your last Italian language class. Today, we’ll reflect on what we’ve learned and experienced together. After class, enjoy a free afternoon to soak in any last sights or return to a favorite café or boutique. Take time to journal, revisit your take-home workbook, or simply walk the streets with new eyes and new words in your heart. In the evening, we’ll reunite in the Navigli district, one of Milan’s most beloved and atmospheric neighborhoods. Lined with glowing lanterns and gentle canals, Navigli is the perfect setting to toast to new friendships and unforgettable memories. Our farewell dinner will be held at the iconic Trattoria da Mauro il Bolognese, known for its soul-satisfying pasta and old-world charm. Savor handmade tagliatelle, regional wine, and good company as we celebrate the week we’ve shared. After dinner, enjoy a canal-side stroll under the stars, letting the beauty of the moment linger just a little longer. ~Italian Class (2 hours) – Review & Real-life Practice ~Review of Key Phrases from the week ~Casual Conversation Practice (shopping, dining, travel recaps) ~Saying Goodbye (“Arrivederci”, “È stato un piacere”, “A presto!”)

Day 8: Farewell & Departure

This morning, we’ll head to Malpensa Airport for departures—unless, of course, your Italian adventure is continuing beyond Milan. Enjoy a final Italian coffee together before warm goodbyes are exchanged. Whether you're heading home or onward to your next destination, you’ll leave with new words, lifelong memories, and a little piece of Italy tucked in your heart. Arrivederci, Milano. Alla prossima.
